"Efímer" (2016) by M. Raméntol and Cesc Fortuny is the first film in the Tri Laksana trilogy based on the Buddhist concepts of impermanence, desire and suffering and composed of two other short films:
#2 - "Duhkha" (2018): https://www.viridiana.tv/videos/duhkha
#3 - "La Gàbia" (2019): https://www.viridiana.tv/videos/la-gabia
Structured in three parts, birth, life and death, the film shows temporality, transience and transience through a common thread, the water or river that accompanies the characters of the film at all times, who in this case are not actors but elements of nature, objects and animals. Through the lyricism of the images, the film also delves into the ephemerality of art, thus completing the whole as if it were a circular poem.
