A video-dance production that pays tribute to the women who died in the convent-prison of the Oblates of Tarragona because of the harsh prison conditions and to the only woman shot in the city during Franco's repression. The play aims to keep alive and document the memory of these women through testimonies about their lives and their stay in prison, before being buried in a mass grave in the cemetery of Tarragona.
This production, based on real events, is an adaptation of the book, with the same title, written by Tecla Martorell from Tarragona, and the show, with the same title, created by the Tarragona dance company "La Im.Perfecta". From the hand of the production company DansPXL, history, narrative, dance and audiovisual come together to give voice to our recent past.
